About Safer

Safer Purpose Statement

Safer is Cal Poly's sexual assault and relationship violence risk reduction program and first stop resource for faculty, staff, students, survivors, and loved ones. The Safer program works to create a healthy and respectful campus – regardless of gender identities, sexual orientation, and culture – through education, crisis referrals and advocacy. Safer supports the mission of Student Life and Leadership by creating socially responsible leaders who seek to break the silence surrounding sexual assault and relationship violence through education and facilitating connections within the Cal Poly community.
