Important Information for Students with Disabilities Interested in Support Services for Fall 2008

Students with disabilities who intend to apply for accommodations in fall 2008 and thereafter are encouraged to begin the application process as soon as they are admitted. For additional information about our services, please visit the Disability Resource Center website. Disability Resource Center Office Hours During WOW
Monday, September 15 through Friday, September 19
The Disability Resource Center will be open between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. DRC staff will be available to answer general questions for those students having inquires about support services. However, advance appointments are strongly encouraged for students anticipating a need for temporary or permanent support services. To arrange for an appointment, students should contact 805-756-1395.

Accommodations During WOW
Students or guests with disabilities may request specific accommodations in advance by contacting the Disability Resource Center at 805-756-1395. Services such as Sign Language interpreting or use of Assistive Listening Systems require generous advance notice--at least 2-3 weeks is greatly appreciated.


On-Campus Transportation
Eligible students with mobility impairments may request tram/van service in advance by contacting DRC at 805-756-1395. Our ability to provide "on-demand" services is limited and generous advance notice is greatly appreciated.


Parking
Visitors to Cal Poly displaying a valid disabled placard or license plates issued by the DMV are required to obtain a complimentary disabled parking pass. The complimentary parking pass can be obtained at the Grand Avenue Visitor Information Center and the University Police Department.
