There are a wide variety of resources available to students on the Cal Poly campus. Several campus departments will be available to answer your questions about their services at the Resource Faire on Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the University Union plaza!

Associated Students Incorporated (ASI)

ASI is the ultimate resource for enriching your college experience, offering hundreds of programs, activities, and workshops year-round. ASI will showcase all programs available to students such as: ASI events, Poly Escapes, Craft Center, Student Government, Clubs, Rose Float, and Recreational Sports; Aquatics, Fitness, and Intramural Sports.

 

Cal Poly fund Phonathon

The Cal Poly Fund Phonathon employs students who raise funds from alumni and parents for Cal Poly each year.  Our goal is to represent and promote Cal Poly through great conversations with alumni and parents, while increasing their support of our University’s Colleges, Departments and Programs.

 

Campus Dining

Food is fuel for the mind. Restaurants on campus nourish and stimulate the intellect of Cal Poly's 3,100 resident students plus provide food for thousands of other students, faculty, and staff. From convenient and flexible dining plans to Campus Express Club to care packages, Campus Dining has you covered.
 

Stop by the to learn about student meal plans, dining programs, Campus Express Club, and great places to eat on campus like Jamba Juice and Einstein Bros. Bagels.  There are over 20 restaurants and food venues with at least one food operation open daily.  Campus Dining offers a wide variety of food that is vegetarian, non-dairy, wheat/gluten-free, low-fat, and more to accommodate various food preferences and needs.

Commuter Services

Disability Resource Center

The Disability Resource Center provides information and supportive services to Cal Poly students with permanent and temporary disabilities.  Currently enrolled students, or students who have been accepted and plan to attend Cal Poly, may visit How to Apply for DRC Services for information about the application steps.  To ensure the timeliness of services, it is important to begin the process as soon as possible.  Implementation of services may be delayed for students waiting until arrival on campus to begin the intake process.

 

El Corral BookStore

El Corral Bookstore, located in the University Union, has been serving Cal Poly students since 1933.  El Corral Bookstore provides books, supplies and related merchandise essential to the educational mission of the university.  It offers all required and recommended courseware as well as a stocked student and office supply section, Tech Center with the latest computer hardware, software and peripherals, Cal Poly insignia clothing and gift section, and much more.

 

Financial Aid

The Financial Aid Office helps students and parents plan finances and organize their resources to cover college costs. Financial assistance is a resource designed to supplement the cost of education, and is not intended to be used as a student's sole means of income.

 

General Education Program

General Education Program will present information on General Education courses, requirements, and other advising-related brochures.  General Education provides students with foundational abilities and breadth through 72 quarter units of courses. All students at Cal Poly are required to complete the General Education (core) curriculum.

The Interfaith Campus Council (ICC), composed of leaders representing more than 20 religious organizations, supports Cal Poly students as they explore and grow spiritually.  ICC will have representatives from different campus ministries as well as a list available for prospective students/parents of all the campus ministries available to Cal Poly students.

Pride Center

The Pride Center is open to everyone, especially those students interested in supporting and celebrating the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning community. The Center provides events, training and education on LGBT issues; resources through our lending library of books, films, and magazines; support and a safe, drop-in space on campus. Our staff members serve as your advocates on campus.

The Sexual Assault Free Environment Resource (SAFER) Program is Cal Poly's sexual assault resource and prevention program. Though its prevention education curriculum, SAFER works to make the campus community a safer place for all its members, raising awareness, providing resources, and fighting to end sexual violence.
