Applications for the 2010 Open House Committee

Club Relations Committee:

Duties include, but are not limited to; coordinating club and organization activities for the Open House program, chairing club meetings, the coordinating facility use for booth assignments and mapping club and organization booths, developing participation packet for all clubs and organizations; processing all club forms and fees; overseeing Kids' Fair, Main Stage, Thursday Night Farmers Market Preview; and overseeing all club activities during Open House weekend.

Campus and Community Relations Committee:

Duties include, but are not limited to; organizing and monitoring Resource Fair, attending all College and Resource meetings; all sponsorship and fundraising/accounting management, serving as the liaison to Special Events (Tractor Pull, Rodeo, Music Departments' Concert, Roborodentia, etc.) and revising the Special Events policy. Duties include coordination of all volunteers and VIP's.

Public Relations Committee:

Duties include, but are not limited to; coordination of all publicity and printing for Open House including the brochure, program, poster, signage, press releases, press kits, all event listing, informational booths, informational binders, general copy editing, and review and revision of campus advertising. Duties also include coordination between local radio station sponsors for parade, Kids' Fair, Farmers' Preview Night, and media coverage before event. The Public Relations committee also oversees set-up for both Open House Farmers events, the creation and distribution of signage and banners, website management and documentation and delivery of archives to the library.

Events and Entertainment Committee:

Duties include, but are not limited to; scheduling of Opening Ceremonies, University Welcomes, coordination of parade and coordination of all Friday Nite Invite activities. Duties also include communicating electricity and facilities concerns involving campus organizations, ordering committee equipment for the event, and review and revision of facilities.
