Maeve Blessing
Events & Entertainment Chair
Maeve is a fourth year nutrition major with an art
minor who hales from Yreka, California (that's right
up close to the Oregon border, if ya didn't
know!). She enjoys swings, a light rain, and won't
say no to coffee cake. You can often find Maeve
debating the topics of manatees and health care.
When she grows up she hopes to travel the country in
her air stream trailer run entirely on bio-diesel
and eat nothing but organic fruits and vegetables.
While on this adventure, she plans to make a living
through intimidation and selling people things they
don't need. |

Alex

Campus & Community Relations
Co-Chair
Multimedia Co-Chair
Alex is a fourth-year Business
Administration student with concentrations in
Marketing and International Management, as well as a
Spanish minor. He will be graduating in June 2008.
Alex is originally from Santa Cruz, CA. He
enjoys sarcasm, cooking, playing guitar,
single-handedly saving the environment, and making
lists of things that he likes. After WOW, he's
hoping he might finally have time to exercise
semi-regularly. And maybe get a job. Or travel.
He's indecisive. And long-winded. |

Paul
Foster
Administration Chair
Paul is a fourth year student
pursuing a degree in Physics. Even though his
degree will be in the science field, he sees himself
working in the business world. He would like to
either go to the east coast or back to Orange County
where he grew up. Paul is the kind of guy you
always see with a smile on his face, which spreads
like wildfire. When he's not on campus, you might
see him working hard at the downtown Jamba Juice.
Besides work and school, he is a big fan of fantasy
and sci-fi movies, but will take any chance he gets
to hit the slopes on his snowboard. |

her parents for all of their love and support.
If all goes well, she hopes to one day open her own

of all ages can sculpt, draw, paint and learn about
the future. If that plan fails, she would like to go
to medical school for pediatric neurology and help
people. |

his career is derailed, he wants to work in the
field of business. |

Team WOW (Orientation Leader Trainers)
Team WOW 2008 Roster
 |
|
Selected by the board and the assistant director, these
47 returning student volunteers have one of two Team
roles: Facilitators and Production Crew members. The Production Crew
(PCs) are the “behind the scenes” staff and are the backbone of TEAM. They are
responsible for creating weekly training skits, for making sure TEAM has the materials they
need, and have the option to help train the student leaders
also. Facilitators (FACs) are directly
responsible for training and evaluating a group of student leaders. It's important to note that PC's
and FACs have the same training. In the event a FAC cannot fulfill their
duty, a PC must be ready to step in and take over.
Along with their team roles, Team members are
assigned to different committees to assist the board
members in creating and organizing training
activities and events during WOW. |

Leaders in Training (Orientation Leaders)
 |
|
These student leaders (LIT's) have direct contact with the incoming students.
These students go through ten weeks of high-energy training. Approximately 500 student volunteers
train three hours of every Tuesday night in preparation for the week of welcome. They have the
choice of being Staff members or Orientation Leaders in the fall. Staff members help setup and
break down events, register new students, and make sure the week runs smoothly. Orientation Leaders
are usually paired male-female and have between 12 and 20 new students. |
