Article I:
Section A: Name
The name of this organization is the Friends of WOW Alumni Chapter, a university support group (hereafter
referred to as FOW) affiliated with the California Polytechnic State University Alumni Association (hereafter
referred to as the Cal Poly Alumni Association).
Article II: Mission Statement and Purpose
Section A: Mission Statement
To advocate and support the activities which reflect the "learn by doing" educational experience to
students participating in the Week of Welcome Program (hereafter referred to as WOW).
Section B: Purpose
To promote education in leadership, to recognize and encourage the valuable lifetime skills realized through
the training program, and practical experience at Cal Poly, to provide information and interaction between
students and alumni, to coordinate fundraising efforts, and to provide on-going support to the WOW program.
