ORGANIZATION
GUESTS WITH DISABILITIES
IMPORTANT: Guests who are deaf or hard of hearing requiring
sign-language services or Assistive Listening Systems need to contact
the Disability Resource Center (805) 756-1395 in advance. Please allow as
much advance notice as possible, ideally 2 weeks.
Parking/Transit:
Special Parking for guests with physical restrictions will be reserved on the lowest level of the Grand Avenue parking
structure adjacent to the Performing Arts center (PAC). Signage will direct you to those areas. That is the closest
area to Mott Gym and does not require any stairs.
Seating: The first and second rows of seating
in the gym are reserved for guests unable to climb the
bleachers. Additional spaces are allocated for guests using
wheelchairs. Due to space limitations, only one attendant or
able-bodied family member can sit in the reserved area with
guests in wheelchairs or with mobility impairments. Seats in
these areas are bleacher type and have no backs. Please
arrive early to ensure seating in the reserved sections.
First Aid: Medical personnel will be available during the ceremony.
Unless medically necessary, no food or beverages are allowed
in the seating area.
For specific accommodation requests not covered above, please contact the
Disability Resource Center, (805) 756-1395. Generous advance notice is
greatly appreciated.
